FUTURISTIC FASHION



I was always interested in futuristic fashion. Like everything unknown, futuristic fashion is some kind of dark attraction, inspiration and curiosity for me. When talking about futuristic fashion, you can’t not to mention Australian born model Abbey Lee Kershaw a/k/a Abbey Lee. She was a new face for Chanel's Fall/Winter 2010/2011 ready-to-wear ad campaign.  Abbey became the cover model of Australian Vogue for the fourth time. Her works are sexy, scandalous and experimental.
Please see below Abbey Lee Kershaw’s shoot with i-D Magazine. Abbey is seen wearing all kinds of sexy and chic futuristic trends like the transparent raincoats, metallic jeans, thigh high boots and colored latex lingerie in it. Photographed by Emma Summerton and styled by Charlotte Stockdale.

    Some look really great! Just like the McQueen heels and the transparent raincoat and more or less all items in this shooting but in general there are many ugly pieces around just to impress but they lack of inspiration and good taste.

    So, just not to get you confused, I loooved your post and the whole Abbey Lee shooting :)

    Abbey is a freakin GODDESS! Shes one of the few models I look out for because she seems sooooooooo down to earth and lovely too =) I think this editorial is just wonderfull. Lately there have been alot of colour blocking and pattern-on-pattern about so this is very refreshing too see ^_^
